The THIRD HEADLINER of Rock for People 2023 is The 1975!
In addition to two dozen great names, RfP promised to reveal the second pair of headliners for next year’s edition in the traditional Advent calendar; well, RfP didn’t keep it that way!
The third headliner of the 27th biggest-ever Rock for People and the star of Saturday night is The 1975. This British guitar sensation, honored with two 2019 Brit Awards, joins metal legends Slipknot and British rock greats MUSE as the already-announced headliners for next summer. The indie-rock band, fronted by Matthew Healy, will bring their new album, Being Funny in a Foreign Language, from earlier this year, but there will be no shortage of old favorites like Chocolate and The Sound. Most of The 1975’s albums have topped the UK and US charts, and they’ve even earned a Grammy nomination for Best Rock Song in 2020.
